More free stuff is a page of Tools I just use to death in no particular order:

1. Web re-sizer is a tool that allows you to upload a picture and do basic editing (cropping and resizing). The real beauty is that it will take an image and optimize it for use on web sites. Faster upload times keeps the search engines happy and the end users happy.
2. Team Viewer is a tool that let’s you work remotely on someone else’s computer as if you were sitting right there with you own mouse and keyboard. Great for training. I have never used the paid version so I can’t comment on whether it is better?
3. Skype if you don’t know what Skype is or how to use it I suggest you ‘get out more’. Free phone calls and video conferencing. If that doesn’t convince you to find out more and get it then I’m sorry you need therapy (laugh).
4. Yahoo link finder: type in: link:domian and Yahoo will give you a report on how many links you have going to your web site. Type in your competitor’s domain and you can find out what you have to beat.
5. Gmail: No explanation here if you don’t have a Google account then you are missing out.
6. Google Reader: same comment as above. It cost nothing and when you learn to use it it saves hours.
7. Flickr is a great free site from Yahoo to store pictures. I find it easier to use than Google’s Picasso. Flickr also has a reasonable video editing tool. Handy if you wish to build a Facebook home page.
8. Snipping Tool from Microsoft allows you to capture a ‘screen shot’ of your computer screen and save it as a ‘jpeg’ file. Very handy taking notes from YouTube videos!
9. Free Social network post submitter for WordPress

Real Time savers:

These guys will submit your website to over 70 of the major search engines for free. If you have ever tried doing that by hand you will know what a time save that will be. Whilst it is true that the Search Engines may eventually find your website it is always best to just remind them you are still about 3-4 times a year. Don’t do it much more often than that or you might get penalised for spamming them. Here’s the link:
